Mouse Control Tips

  • Find the source of food and deny the mice access to it, and they will take the mouse poison or bait
  • Block the mouse entry points using wire wool
  • Always put mouse poison in bait boxes and avoid spillage
  • Use non toxic and humane methods or trapping or killing if other wild-life is present.
  • Continue setting mouse traps or bait for at least a week after the last catch or kill.
  • Double bag all dead mice and unused mouse poison. Place in a closed container.
  • Dispose of waste carefully. Do not contaminate the ground or water supply.
  • Do not compost food waste if you think there are mice about.
  • Remove bird feeders until your mouse problem is solved.
  • Keep all mouse poison and packaging in case of accidents and place mouse traps safely.
