Rat and Mouse Poison

Rat poison is available in various quantities according to the size of your rat problem.

Rats usually feed once a day and take around 30g of rat poison each. If you suspect you have a number of rats you should buy at least 1Kg of rat poison

Difenacoum is a multi-feed compound that was developed to deal with warfarin-resistant rodents and can be used indoors or outdoors. Difenacoum is available from stock in loose wholegrain, wholegrain sachets, paste sachets and all-weather bait blocks. All of our difenacoum-based products are 0.005% w/w difenacoum.

Bromadiolone has a higher toxicity to rodents than many other anticoagulants. It can be used indoors or outdoors and is effective against warfarin resistant rats and mice. Bromadiolone is available from stock in loose wholegrain, wholegrain sachets, paste sachets and all-weather bait blocks. All of our bromadiolone-based products are 0.005% w/w bromadiolone.

We recommend that customers alternate between using difenacoum and bromadiolone based products when baiting on a long-term basis. This is to avoid the rodents building-up a resistance to the sustained use of one type of rodenticide. We suggest alternating on a monthly basis.

Brodifacoum is the latest weapon in th war against poison-resistant rodents. It is a unique and phenomenaly attractive paste bait formulated from a mix of mulched cereals and peanut butter oils. Brodifacoum can kill rodents in a single feed and can only be used indoors and we advise the use of a tamper proof bait station at all times. Always read the label and use pesticides safely. Store in a sealed container away from children and pets. Keep the label in a safe place, your doctor or vet will find it useful if rat poison is accidentally consumed. If you think your pet has eaten rat poison, take it to the vet within an hour, if possible.
